About Ignite Calisthenics & Yoga
Ignite Calisthenics & Yoga was founded to make wellness more accessible, inclusive, and effective by combining the strength-building benefits of calisthenics with the flexibility, mindfulness, and recovery benefits of yoga.
A New Approach to
Strength, Flexibility & Community Wellness
ICY was created by Lee Whack and Maurice Williams in partnership with Aaron Lewis to break down common barriers in the wellness space. Too often, people feel like strength training, yoga, recovery, and mindfulness exist in separate worlds. ICY brings them together.
The idea behind ICY is simple: people need strength, flexibility, education, and community to move well and live well. Some people lift weights but rarely stretch. Others are curious about yoga but feel like it is not for them. Many want to improve their health but do not feel comfortable in traditional gyms or wellness spaces.
ICY exists to change that by creating an experience that is approachable, functional, and built for real life.
What to Expect from an ICY Session
Each ICY session is built to help participants warm up, build strength, move intentionally, stretch deeply, and reset mentally. Maurice leads a calisthenics-based strength and mobility experience, followed by Lee guiding participants through yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.
Together, the class creates a balanced experience that helps participants feel stronger, more flexible, more connected, and better prepared for the demands of daily life.
